Vagelis graduated from the Architecture school of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

He has been involved in the study and construction of buildings, specializing in holiday houses on the Greek islands of Mykonos and Kea.
He has also followed piano&organ lessons for 7 years.

Here are his personal comments.

"In 1975 I got involved in Hi-Fi and put together a system consisting of a Pioneer 2Χ30Watts amplifier, Thorens
turntable with Adc cartridge and AR18 speakers.
After several years of search I ended up listening with a Martin-Logan (I changed models three times) driven by the Goldmund Mimesis 9.5 and then by the Theta Citadel while the preamp was the Jeff Rowland’s legendary Coherence and after the Simaudio’s P5 lim.edition and so on...

From 2003 up today I have gone back to using electrodynamic speakers.

In 1996 I began the design and manufacturing of the Racks Audio-Design series system, which I still produce successfully.
Today is in production an improved version of Racks Audio-Design , meeting all Hi-end standards.

Since 2005 I have been the distributor of the Austrian Ayon Audio and Lumen-White speakers, as well as the
Japanese Phasetech, the German WSS-cables and the Italian VYGER."
