14 May 2000: Yiannis Vlachos

Vlachos-May-2000-pic-sys

By Tony Pothitos

Giannis once again with a very sensible and tactful combination created a very smooth and pleasurable sounding system. The DIY has gotten better and the all analogue setup was much better than expected.

Here we have an example of total symmetry between the machines and the music, nothing comes out wrong and nothing comes out too much either.

A good example for ACA members. Giannis has spent a long time trying to fix things in this manner and it seems he has accomplished it. The Vivaldi was very musical indeed with stretches of sonic bliss.

We thank Giannis for a very good show tonight, he is a honored member and is a great audiophile.
