HIGH END 2013 - MUNICH 09 - 12.05.2013The HIGH END is in top form once again and enjoying an unstoppeable boom in bookings. As by today, we will have more than 350 exhibitors, representing more than 900 brands at the MOC in Munich. Hall 3, hall 4, Atrium 3 and Atrium 4 are fully booked and newly-developed demonstration cabins are featured within the main exhibition halls.Beside the main show, many lectures at the technology stage and several live concerts will be held during all days. The HIGH END SOCIETY The HIGH END SOCIETY, founded in 1982, is an European association of manufacturers and distributors who are involved in the high end market. The idea of the HIGH END SOCIETY and its HIGH END trade fair was born in 1981 after the hi-fi scene demanded a pure hi-fi show. The HIGH END SOCIETY (Interest Society for High Quality Consumer Electronic) is the organiser of the "HIGH END" - which has been meeting every year since 1982. The success of the first "HIGH END" in 1982 was so great, that a Society was founded, - and the "HIGH END" was carried on every year thereafter in the Hotel - Kempinski near Frankfurt/Main. In addition, the HIGH END SOCIETY publishes a HIGH END-catalogue every year, which is a guide of all exhibitors at the fair, and at the same time a true reference Book used both inside and outside of Germany. In the past as well as in the future, the HIGH END SOCIETY has organised dealer seminars, to help guide qualified dealers in solving problems concerning the market, new technologies, the emotions of consumers, and the business aspects of the high quality hi-fi. Recently, the HIGH END SOCIETY has been producing CDs completely without any commercial intentions. Selected compositions, masterfully performed with exemplary recording quality should demonstrate what is technically and sonically possible, when something is produced with such great care. The HIGH END SOCIETY has a permanent office located in Wuppertal (near Düsseldorf and Cologne). All activities are co-ordinated and worked out there. In addition, this office serves to help anyone with questions concerning the hi-fi branch. The HIGH END SOCIETY office has a database, from which information as to where particular equipment may be found in Germany or other European countries and North America and the respective distributors of this equipment may be extracted at any time from the computer. Similarly databases are available with complete listings of dealers in Germany and other countries. The office also sets up contacts between manufacturers and distributors and answers questions from end-users as well as the press and broadcast. Problems between dealers and distributors as well as between end-users and dealers are also often settled by the HIGH END SOCIETY office. A hotline exists for information of all kinds, which is quite busy - an indication as to how important such a operation has become (seminars, conferences, job referrals). The HIGH END SOCIETY takes a position to relevant high-end themes, keeping tight contact with magazines, newspapers, radio and television, providing them with all important information concerning the high-end branch.
