The profile of Chameleon AudioBeing in the wood-working business for 20 years, you have learned of wood’s properties, its aging process and durability. When you are in sound engineering and High-Fidelity reproduction for 25 years, you may claim enough expertise. When music has been in your DNA since an early age then the formula cannot be but infallible. I believe that these are qualifications enough if you want to construct the finest. Our aim has been to display music' s perfection through reproduction means and to render it clear from any kind of vibration that can distort the standards that music stands for and is obliged to serve exceedingly in sound reproduction. But unfortunately our sound systems never managed to deliver maximum performance. We have been testing equipment racks from two decades now, using all the materials available in the market, the result always being something lacking this unique, natural, effortless and real emotion such as the experience of a concert hall or when auditioning a street musician whose sound is not restricted within four walls, or the sound of a piano in our living room, but it’s the sound that surrounds us, envelopes us, touches us. And it’s the kind of sound that will make us close our eyes and journey with it. Or the sound that will make us stomp our feet to the rhythm on the floor and feel all its pace and intensity. This is the kind of sound that we have always wanted. The real sound. The effortless sound. With great pleasure I welcome you to my wonderful world. Chameleon RackIs a Hand-Made Rack built using solidebony wood, mortised with press-fit technology. After six years study of exotic woods, we finally have found what we have always aimed for, the sonic propearties of Ebony. From then on Ebony is our prime material. We always choose the finest Ebony, where time has grown them ripe and are ready to be processed. The entire construction is hand-crafted using the best materials and tools. The dye is also applied by hand. The paint is composed by a mixture of waxes and oils that leave the material unaffected preserving its natural properties. Every shelf can be used on its own, or as a part of a complete Chameleon Rack. The dimension of the Chameleon ebony shelves are 53cm X 55cm but we can make any dimension on special order.

To that end, significant amount of research, work and time has been invested in order to achieve the best possible performance. The arm board has also been redesigned with significantly and unexpectedly good results. The plinth is Handcrafted using the same materials as we use for our rack; solid ebony wood from various cutting years and variations. The dye is also applied by hand. Linn Sondek LP12 Plinth
The Plinth is complemented by a hand-made and laser-curved Ebony Arm board
A Linn Sondek LP12 turntable complete with Plinth and Arm board Garrard 401 / 301 PlinthHere is our view of how a Garrard 401/301 deck should be supported. The materials used are exotic woods based on ebony and Oregon. The ebony parts were naturally dried for more than 17 years, while the Oregon ones for 30. The Garrard deck can be supported with one or two arm boards drilled however you wish (based on the tone arms that you intend to use).
Garrard 401 / 301 Plinth The arm boards are fully detachable from the plinth for functional reasons and for better noise/vibration dampening (from the environment or from the motor), since they do not touch the main plinth. This also allows the user to have as many extra arm boards as he likes with pre-attached and pre-configured tone arms, which can be interchanged very quickly and easily by removing only three screws. The entire plinth weighs about 15kg. There are three different finishing options:

The material is machined with precision and laser engraved. A light polishing gives it its final texture, while a light coat of glossy die gives it its final finish while protecting it from wear.
Isolation Feet The feet can be used with remarkable results either to isolate electronic equipment, or speakers, or even entire racks. We have had amazing results using them on a big variety of equipment including speakers, amplifiers, turntables, cd/sacd players and many more. Since each piece is unique, we cannot give you specific recommendations on where each size will work best. The Isolation Feet are available in three heights. 30mm, 50mm and 70mm. Their external diameter is 70mm, while the internal is 40mm.

Specifically selected for its properties, the material offers excellent damping and isolation to your turntable. The material is machined with precision and laser engraved. A light polishing gives it its final texture, while a light coat of glossy die gives it its final finish while protecting it from wear. The Clamp is available in two sizes/weights. 250gr and 500gr
