**The Civil Wars

On February 14, 2009, Williams announced the beginning of a new band she has formed with singer-songwriter John Paul White called The Civil Wars; this band is in addition to her solo career.[14]
They released a free live album titled Live at Eddie's Attic in June 2009. Their first studio EP titled Poison & Wine was released on November 15, 2009 and features 4 songs. Their first full-length studio release, Barton Hollow, will be made available on February 1, 2011.[15]
